Networking Knowledge: Should have a solid understanding of networking concepts.
Experience: 2–3 years of relevant experience.
Network Maintenance Support: Assist all technology team members to ensure the proper maintenance of LAN, Wireless, MAN, and WAN voice and data networks, based on the guidance and recommendations from the client NOC.
Wi-Fi Tools Expertise: Familiarity with Wi-Fi tools like Ekahau and NetAlley for wireless surveys and troubleshooting wireless networks.
Device Location and Replacement: Help identify the building, floor, room, and rack where devices need to be replaced. Be aware of all rooms/racks where network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless controllers, access points) are located, as directed by the client NOC.
Racking and Stacking: Assist in the racking and stacking of network equipment.
New Equipment Identification: Help identify new equipment to be installed at the site, based on client NOC’s guidance.
Inspection and Pre-Check: Unpack and inspect new equipment against the bill of materials. Power on devices and perform documented pre-checks and tests.
Remote Hands Support: Provide remote hands-on support as directed by the client NOC team.
Tools and Equipment: Carry necessary tools (tool kit, safety gear, RJ45 patch cord, USB pen drive, console cable, laptop, label printers) required for equipment installation.
Equipment Delivery: Assist with the delivery and movement of equipment in and out of the site.
Level-1 Troubleshooting Support: Provide Level-1 support for troubleshooting to resolve network issues.
Networking Protocols: Basic understanding of networking protocols.
Basic Network & Security Knowledge: Basic understanding of network and security technologies.
Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional demeanor, adhere to workplace policies, and maintain hygiene standards.
